TIE Company has traveled with its plays and workshops to different States of the country and has also participated in the International events:
- International Theatre Festival in Warsaw (Poland).
- Theatre Workshop for teachers in Muscat (Oman).
- International Symposium on Actor’s Training and Theatre Showcase Beijing (China).
Theatre World Show Organization, organized by UNESCO in Philippines 2006.
National Event of the Year: Jashn-e-Bachpan- 2006
TIE Company organized its first National Children Theatre Festival, widely known as Jashn-e-Bachpan in the year 1998. Initiallly it was an annual theatre festival by children as well as by adults for Children, but now TIE Company organizes Jashn-e-Bachpan in every alternative year. Till now around 67 plays in different Indian languages has been showcased through Jashn-e-Bachpan.
This year TIE Company is organizing its 7th Jashn-e-Bachpan from 14-27 November 2006. This annual feature is truly a confluence of play by/for children from different parts of the country in Delhi. The audience (children) are benefited by interaction with various performing groups and gets a fair idea on different approaches and performing styles operating in various regions. more...
